Marl tones are also introduced into this season’s collection in the form of sweatshirts, t-shirts, shorts and sweat pants. The melange effect of the material in these sportswear items were influenced by our sporting history.
After researching and learning about Brutalist concrete stadia in The Modernist blog series, we looked to replicate the flecked colours found in these cathedrals of sport. The multi-tone buildings guided us into unique fabrics that only get better with age. Found in the concrete steps and weathered seats our Marl Brown and Blue add a unique twist to our classic sportswear pieces.
