Jumpers For Goalposts

For the Admiral Sporting Goods ‘Jumpers for Goalposts’ Autumn / Winter 2022 campaign we build on the legacy of Admiral Sportswear, aiming to preserve the history and stylistic tradition of the brand and bring it together with the recognisable cultural pastime of football.

The running narrative of Admiral Sporting Goods previous shoots is looking at grassroots sports for inspiration, focusing on locations and moments that are synonymous with the beautiful game at a foundational level. This led us to the amateur football pitches and the kick about at the park which we all grew up on.

Location

Hilly Fields and Ladywell Park both have a rich sporting history, with the borough of Lewisham and specifically Hilly Fields having historically been breeding grounds for high level footballing talent. Ian Wright was a regular in the late 60’s before signing for Crystal Palace.

Admiral has history in South London having manufactured Crystal Palace’s kit from in the 70s, 80s and 00s making Hill Fields, the jewel in a concrete city, the ideal location to highlight our new collection.

The Collection

The new Autumn / Winter 2022 Collection focuses on our sporting heritage, fusing genuine tradition with a modern aesthetic. Invariably our new range focuses on premium materials and manufacturing techniques whilst introducing washing techniques that further enhance the heritage sportswear look.
